Dr. Diana ChristopulosA native of Wyoming, Dr. Diana Christopulos likes to play outside. She tries to be a good vegetable gardener, and has canoed, kayaked, and rafted thousands of miles of American rivers. Diana earned a doctorate in American history, receiving her degrees from Cornell University and Binghamton University. Before her retirement, she taught college history, owned an international management consulting business, and was a senior executive at the American Heart Association. Since then, she has co-founded the Roanoke Valley Cool Cities Coalition with almost 300 affiliates. She has also completed the Appalachian Trail (in stages) and is the President of the Roanoke Appalachian Trail Club. She and Mark McClain live in Salem.
