Volunteer With Us

We have ample volunteer opportunities throughout the year. Whether you would like to help with our events (Fun Run in the Sun, Conservation Celebration), join us for letter campaigns in the office, or help with our garden clubs, there is something for everyone!

Consider helping support the Blue Ridge Land Conservancy’s mission by becoming a volunteer and giving us the gift of your time and talents! We have many different opportunities that range from one time events to ongoing weekly or monthly commitments.  Check out the list below of current volunteer opportunities to see what might be a good fit for you.

In the Office
Are you more interested in having a set schedule? We can always use volunteers to help us in the office with mailings, contacting organizations, performing monitoring visits, and any other task that pops up that day! We’ll work with your schedule and talents to create projects that appeal to you and help us better meet our mission.

Why Volunteer?

"We abuse land because we see it as a commodity belonging to us. When we see land as a community to which we belong, we may begin to use it with love and respect.”
